Yu Yang is an artist currently based in Frankfurt am Main, where he studies at Städelschule.  Through sculpture, moving image, and performance, Yu Yang explores the residual structures of the sublime embedded within ideological systems. His practice interrogates the instability of language and the shifting status of objects, treating each medium as a site where meaning accumulates, disperses, and transforms. The work emerges as fragments, metaphors, and allegories—a melancholic archaeology of collapsing certainties.
